I know, I know.
It’s waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early to start looking at the NFL playoffs.
However, I beg to differ.
Richard Sherman and the Seahawks whipped the 49ers on Sunday night and took an early lead in the race for NFC supremacy.
Through two weeks, one concept is very clear; the NFC is the cat’s meow and the AFC is dreadful. In fact, this might be one of the worst AFC fields over 20 years.
Don’t be fooled by five of the six AFC playoff teams being 2-0. These teams aren’t any good. Anyhow, the early look at the playoff picture is somewhat amusing.
Incredibly, Denver (easily the AFC’s best team) would start the playoffs as a six seed because Kansas City has a better combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
