The New Orleans Saints are probably still rolling up yardage against the Dallas Cowboys defense.
Dallas dropped a 49-17 decision to the Saints on Monday night in the Superdome. While Dallas isn’t the first team to take it on the chin in the Superdome during the Brees/Payton regime, the Pokes’ defense took a massive bath in front of a national television audience.
New Orleans set an NFL record by netting 40 first downs as a part of a 626-yard offensive effort.
The 626 yards allowed by Dallas is the most ever allowed by a Cowboys team.
Better luck next time Jerry.
