In New England’s first playoff game since Tom Brady’s league-induced flogging during the offseason during Deflategate, the NFL reportedly laid a big egg prior to Saturday’s playoff tilt between the Chiefs and Patriots.
According to Patriots radio color analyst Scott Zolak, officials left the special kicking balls and air gauges that check for PSI in a hotel. In turn, said party needed to be ushered back to the hotel to retrieve the balls and gauges.
That’s right. The league that spent millions of dollars on trying to prove that Brady was “generally aware” of a ball deflation scheme forgot their tools at home.
The Shield is still chopping that wood.
