When the Philadelphia Eagles traded a boatload of picks to the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday in order to move up to the second pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, it created a major question mark at quarterback.
Obviously, the Eagles are all in on a quarterback selection it would be seem. Meanwhile, what about Sam Bradford?
Well, after signing a two-year, $36 million deal, he is not pleased, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter:
“He’s hot,” a source told Schefter. “Who wouldn’t be? This is Philly saying, ‘We don’t see [you] as [a] long-term answer.’ He’s mad and wants to show everyone who’s best.”
If this is true and Bradford is indeed upset, he has a right to be. Sammy B is essentially a lame-duck quarterback. The Eagles will spend much of the next two years waiting for him to screw up just so they can play Goff or Wentz.
As usual, the Eagles make it so hard to like them. Just when you think it’s ok and they’ll make a run, something else happens.
Of course, the Eagles can turn this all around by getting some picks from Denver in a trade involving Sam Bradford.
