Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the triumphant return on the WWE Draft as the biggest company in wrestling splits to create to separate brands at the top of the food chain.

This all takes place as WWE moves to new heights with Smackdown going live until further notice every Tuesday from 8-10 p.m.

Before we get started, a few rules:

1. Monday Night Raw gets the first pick of the draft.
2. Since Raw is a three-hour show, for every two Smackdown picks, Raw gets three.
3. Six performers will be selected WWE’s NXT brand.
4. Tag teams are one pick…unless one GM wants to select a specific person from a team.
5. Cruiserweights will be specific to Raw.

8:00 – Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley are out for Raw; Shane and Daniel Bryan for Smackdown. Raw has the first pick.

8:02 – Queen Stephanie is ready to pick.

2. Smackdown – Dean Ambrose, current WWE champion
3. RAW – Charlotte, WWE Women’s champion

8:07 – Wow, I need a cigarette after that flurry. The announce team tonight is Mauro Ranello, Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole, and Byron Saxton.

8:08 – Five picks in and no John Cena selection. However, Lord Cena is out for a match to open Smackdown vs. Luke Gallows of the Bullet Club.

8:16 – Cena gets that W. You knew he wasn’t doing a job on the show.

8:17 – The WWE Draft coverage on the network looks spectacular. This is a big deal, y’all.

First 10 analysis: Reigns/Rollins/Balor are the first three male wrestlers for Raw. Interesting. Rollins vs. Balor will dope one day. Charlotte’s appearance on Raw will be very interesting considering who may be paired with her…Bayley, please?!?

8:30 – Darren Young and Zack Ryder topple the Miz and Rusev in a tag match. More picks. Less matches. I LOVE THIS!

8:31 – Yo, this is f’n amazing…

WWE is doing the deep dive on this stuff. Spectacular.

8:40 – Bray Wyatt plays head games with Xavier Woods and wins. Interesting nugget…apparently the Wyatt Family will be selected separately in the draft.

8:41 – MORE PICKS PLEASE!!!

8:46 – Oh lord. Kane. At least he is wrestling Kevin Owens, who is pissed that he hasn’t been drafted yet. Kane destroys Owens and Sami Zayn, who came out to attack Owens.

Analysis: Biggest news? They split the women’s division. Oh dear god.

8:57 – Bae is out with Dana Brooke to wrestle Dana Brooke in a 2 on 1 match. Praying that Bayley is the mystery partner.

9:02 – Charlotte pins Sasha in the 2 on 1 match. Basically, it sets the stage that Sasha can’t defend herself on Sunday from the clutches of Charlotte and Dana.

It’s an interesting start to Raw and Smackdown as separate brands. What will become of the women’s division? Who are the cruiserweights that will appear on RAW? Will there be two champions??
