Ten Observations From Preseason Week 1
Week 1 of the 2014 preseason is in the books and alas, The Shield™ will be with us until next February. Here are a few random musings from the initial week of action:

Donovan McNabb Will Be Calling Games For Fox TV
When we last heard from ex-Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb, he stated that current Birds quarterback Nick Foles needed to prepare himself for boos from Philadelphia fans. McNabb’s opinionated stylings will arrive to Fox TV for the upcoming NFL season as a color analyst for selected broadcasts.
Scott Mitchell Is A Bit Hefty These Days; To Appear On Biggest Loser
Former Detroit Lions quarterback Scott Mitchell will be appearing on NBC’s reality show The Biggest Loser in order to shed some of his extra weight. Mitchell, who once checked in at 240 during his playing days, ballooned up to 366 pounds (!!) since retiring in 2002.
