St. Louis cut 10-year veteran Torry Holt on Friday. After compiling over 12,000 yards receiving and 74 touchdowns during his time with the Rams, the 32-year-old will seek to find employment elsewhere. With a set of creaky knees, Holt must be able to prove that he can still contribute at a respectable level if he’s to catch on with another team.
Meanwhile, after going 5-27 the last two seasons, the Rams will get a lot younger with the move. Their receivers are Donnie Avery, Keenan Burton, Derek Stanley, Travis Brown, Joel Filani, and Nate Jones.
Woah. St. Louis has some more offseason work to do with the receivers.
