A couple of weeks ago all seemed to be going well for the Chicago Bears. After back to back losses to Atlanta and Cincinnati, Lovie Smith and the Bears could be in store for a rocky season. Not only did Chicago’s prized offseason acquisition Jay Cutler go belly up to the tune of three interceptions, but the Bears defense also collapsed in the 45-10 loss. They allowed Cincy to score on each of their five first half possessions. Rubbing further salt into the wounds, former teammate Cedric Benson carried 37 times for 189 yards and a touchdown. Think he had a little extra motivation in that game?
