Great Moments In Colts-Patriots History II

During the 2007 regular season, the New England Patriots mowed through its first eight opponents with relative ease before meeting the Colts in the RCA Dome.

At 8-0, the Patriots looked to not only take another step towards an eventual undefeated regular season but to also face some demons.

Months earlier, New England coughed up the AFC title in Indy in part thanks to their inability to convert key third down plays.

Leading 24-20 late in this 2007 regular season contest, the Patriots faced a 3rd and 6, needing to hold off Peyton Manning and the Colts.

Wes Welker answered the call for New England…verbally. Pay attention to the :43 second mark.
