What? You were expecting a picture of Derek Jeter right off the bat? Not so fast my friends. Something is wrong with my computer and I can’t seem to find any Jeter pictures. As a result, Minka Kelly, his significant other, will have to do.

Unless you’ve been trapped inside of your house without electricity, use of a cell phone, or in the woods all weekend, surely you know that Derek Jeter became the 28th player in Major League Baseball history to reach 3,000 hits on Saturday. He did so in emphatic fashion by bashing a homer off of Tampa’s David Price en route to a 5 for 5 day at the plate.

Christian Lopez, who caught Jeter’s homer, wanted nothing for the ball. The Yankees made sure he was rewarded for the good gesture.

Hines Ward was busted on suspicion of a DUI in Georgia. His manager says Ward is not guilty.

Speaking of apologies, Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson had to dish out one on Saturday after using a homophobic slur towards a caller on a talk show.
