When Buffalo visits the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Bills wide receiver David Nelson will have support from the enemy.
Kelsi Reich, Nelson’s girlfriend, will be part of a contingent in Cowboys Stadium rooting on the Texas native. However, there is a minor issue.
Reich is a big Dallas fan and…a Cowboys cheerleader.
When asked earlier this week about what might happen if he scores, Nelson told BuffaloBills.com that he will be prepared:
“If I’m in the area where she is I’m sure I’ll have something planned for that, but I also don’t want to get her in too much trouble,” he said fully aware of her job. ”I obviously couldn’t get in trouble, but she could. I’m discussing some things and try to surprise her a little bit if maybe something happens.”
While the couple engaged in trash talking over the upcoming game, Reich should be able to win any argument rather easily regardless of Sunday’s result.
Good thing this didn’t happen in Philadelphia with an Eagle and Cowboys cheerleader. Regardless of his ties to Texas, there would be a week-long discussion on sports talk radio about whether he should be traded and if they should be allowed to date.
You know it’s true.
