Happy Super Sunday!

Hopefully you have some Pepto Bismol for all of the terrible food you’re going to enjoy on this celebratory day.

I’m often reminded of the late fitness expert Jack LaLanne on a day like this. He once said, “if it tastes good, spit it out!”

With all due respect to Mr. LaLanne, that’s not likely to happen today.

Anyhow, someone affiliated with the Giants allowed the above picture to end up on New York’s team website yesterday.

Once discovered, it was immediately pulled from the website.

This is not a new concept. Both teams probably had this picture ready to roll. Earlier this week, Twitter featured the Super Bowl XLVI Champions DVD covers for each team.

As soon as the confetti starts falling from the ceiling at Lucas Oil Stadium, one of those internet banners will be fired up within seconds.

The New York gaffe continues a week of borderline overconfidence from the Giants. Defensive tackle Chris Canty tweeted on Sunday morning that New York would defeat New England 28-17.

They better win. Otherwise, they’ll look awfully foolish.
