ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Denver is among the 12 teams that has reached out to the Peyton Manning camp.

While Denver may have been happy with how things played out with Tim Tebow last season, John Elway and John Fox can’t pass up an opportunity at one of the all-time greats.

Although, I’m not sure Demaryius Thomas and a cast of relative unknowns at receiver and a spotty defense would be enticing enough to get Manning.

If Manning did sign with Denver, clearly that would relegate America’s favorite religious quarterback to backup status one year after setting the NFL world ablaze.
