One week after Detroit Lion Nick Fairley’s arrest, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested on an aggravated DUI charge Sunday in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
According to reports, Blackmon’s blood alcohol content registered at .24, well off of the .08 legal limit.
The term “aggravated DUI” comes into play because Oklahoma law, which states someone can receive an aggravated DUI charge if their BAC registers at .15.
Blackmon, who initially caught the attention of Stillwater police for driving 60 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone, was released on a $1,000 bond on Sunday afternoon.
This is the second DUI charge against Blackmon, who was arrested in Texas two years ago after he was pulled over for speeding.
