Instead of putting together a “Dream Team” this off-season, the Philadelphia Eagles opted to add Angry Birds to their lineup.
The team announced a partnership with Rovio Entertainment, the company responsible for the popular mobile game Angry Birds, that is often used for Apple-based products.
Head coach Andy Reid trumpeted the deal in an animated video and proclaimed five birds would be joining the nest.
The fifth bird, which did not visibly appear in the video, is proclaimed as the “secret weapon” and the “Mighty Philadelphia Eagle”.
Hopefully that means it will help out with Philly’s suspect red zone defense.
