New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes expressed his frustration on Twitter regarding the replacement officials’ performance on Sunday night.
The Patriots lost 31-30 with perhaps a nudge from the penalty-happy officials, who assessed 24 penalties to Baltimore and New England.
Spikes was called for a critical holding call inside the 10 that erased a Kyle Love sack of Joe Flacco late in the fourth quarter.
Suffice to say, Spikes and his head coach were not happy with the replacement officials.
