Football fans everywhere, I want to read that headline over about 20 times and imagine the potential unadulterated debauchery during the Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show in Glendale, Arizona in February 2015.

According to an ongoing poll by Billboard.com conducted during the aftermath of the Bruno Mars Super Bowl halftime performance on Sunday, results revealed that Lady Gaga has a sizable lead on who people would like to see perform at next year’s halftime show.

Gaga garnered 42%  of the vote thus far (over 11,000 of nearly 28,000 votes) and is easily ahead of her closest competitor…Britney Spears.

The NFL’s youth movement for halftime shows is likely to continue but would they actually go get Gaga?

We’ve got a long ways to go before Super Bowl XLIX but it’s never too early to consider the possibilities. Yet, the Super Bowl become home of the “little monsters” would be rather interesting.

Personally, I’d be interested in seeing the third place choice in this vote so far….

Although, you’d have a better chance of seeing a Wham reunion than Miley Cyrus twerk her way around Glendale.
