A schoolyard hand signal may be the reason why the NFL decided to drop the Roman numeral “L” from promotional materials for the artist now known as Super Bowl 50.

Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016 in Santa Clara, California at Levi’s Stadium.
