Three months after whipping the Denver Broncos to win the franchise’s first Super Bowl, the Seattle Seahawks received their rings in a ceremony in Seattle on Thursday night.
The ring, which features an abundance of diamonds, salutes Seattle’s ride to the top of the NFL that culminated in a 43-8 beatdown of the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.
Emblazoned with a diamond version of the Vince Lombardi Trophy, the ring includes a tribute to Seahawks fans and the vaunted 12th man.
Also, the phrase “WHAT’S NEXT?” is inscribed on the ring, which will be a big storyline moving forward as the 2014 season approaches.
In other news, sadly these rings don’t include the following names or phrases engraved on them:
- I’m the best corner in the game.
- Michael Crabtree
- Sorry receiver.
- Don’t you open your mouth about the best.
- Don’t you ever talk about me.
- LOB.
Oh well, there’s always the next ring.
