Late in Kansas City’s 41-14 assault of the New England Patriots, Tom Brady decided to MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN™ and boy, did it fail decisively.
Chiefs cornerback Husain Abdullah intercepted Brady early in the fourth quarter to push Kansas City’s lead to 41-7 after the two-time Super Bowl MVP threw into a Bermuda Triangle of defenders.
Moments later, Brady found himself on the bench for the rest of the evening and replaced by rookie quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.
Following the game when asked about the throw, Brady said it was forced. Not helping matters is the fact that he throws to a collection of Wes Welker cosplayers.
Close your eyes Patriots fans. This may get ugly.
