The Dallas Cowboys will end Week 5 with a share of first place in the NFC East and quarterback Tony Romo is a big reason why.
The much-maligned signal-caller threw for 324 yards and a pair of scores en route to leading Dallas to a 20-17 overtime win over the Houston Texans on Sunday.
Romo provided one of the game’s signature plays with a big escape of the NFL’s premier defender, J.J. Watt. After alluding danger, Romo found Terrance Williams on a gorgeous 42-yard scoring strike.
Pre-back surgery and post-back surgery Romo are two different entities but today he turned back the clock to lead the Cowboys past the Texans.
