Giants Remind Eagles Fans That They Are The Lords Of No Super Bowl Rings

Earlier this week, Prince Amukamara and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie were at the center of controversy when they took a shot at the Eagles’ lack of Super Bowl hardware.

The Giants duo posed with a Big Blue fan who sported an Eagles jersey that read “Super Bowls 0.” Of course, the New York Giants are the proud owners of four Vince Lombardi trophies while the Eagles are still searching for that elusive first ring.

While Amukamara has a ring with the Giants, Rodgers-Cromartie is still in search of his first ring after playing with the ’13 Broncos that got freight-trained by the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII.

Even though it appeared Amukamara and Rodgers-Cromartie took great pleasure in holding up the zero sign, the former expressed that he intended no disrespect towards the Eagles.

“That got blew up,” Rodgers-Cromartie said. “We’re just two guys taking a picture. Definitely nothing to be disrespectful toward anybody. Just meeting the requirement of a fan. He wanted us to take a picture and we took it.”

Good luck with trying to get people to believe that, Dominique.

The former Eagle and the rest of the New York Giants take on the Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
