Wisconsin alum J.J. Watt is in Indianapolis for Monday’s national title battle between the Badgers and Duke Blue Devils to cap the 2015 college basketball season.
Watt, the defending NFL Defensive Player of the Year, had some company with him in the form of tennis player Caroline Wozniacki.
While Watt finished up his time as a Badger before being drafted by the Houston Texans, Wozniacki doesn’t have any apparent ties to Wisconsin. So, you do the math on that one.
Watt’s appearance to support Wisconsin feels a bit more realistic than Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is also at Monday night’s game.
Even though Rodgers plies his trade in Wisconsin, he is a California Bear.
Good point, Lance.
