According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, embattled Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel checked out of a rehab facility on Saturday.
Manziel, who ended his two-month rehab stay at a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility, is expected to join the Browns on April 20 for team activities…unless those rumors about him being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for quarterback Sam Bradford actually have some validity.
Despite being recently seen in the Philadelphia airport, Manziel is expected to stay put with the Browns for the time being. Even if Manziel remains cleaned up, he faces a tall order retrieving his starting role.
Not only will Manziel have to beat out newly-signed veteran Josh McCown, he have to rehabilitate his image with teammates, which could prove to be the biggest challenge of them all.
