The Kansas City Chiefs literally gave away a chance to beat the Denver Broncos on Thursday night.

After Peyton Manning led the Broncos to game-tying touchdown drive, the Chiefs took over with under 40 seconds remaining. Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith handed off to Jamaal Charles, who already fumbled earlier in the red zone. Charles fumbled again and it was returned for the game-winning score by Denver’s Bradley Roby.

Broncos radio play-by-play man Dave Logan was on the call and he was surprised to say the least.
