Just when it seemed like the New York Giants were about to throw more of their pixie dust on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in another bitter defeat, Stephen Gostkowski rode in to save the day.
After late-game botched clock management by the Giants (again), Tom Brady survived a dropped interception by Landon Collins to lead a late drive to put the Patriots in field goal range.
Then, Gostkowski did the rest by booting a 54-yard field goal to give New England a 27-26 win. Here is how it sounded from New England’s side of the fence with Bob Socci and Scott Zolak.
The 9-0 Patriots play Buffalo next Monday night.
