Ed Hochuli Assigned To Officiate Patriots/Broncos AFC Title Tilt; Avoids Cam Newton Showdown

Hochuli

Ed Hochuli will be the lead referee for Sunday’s AFC Championship game between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos.

The interesting part of Hochuli’s assignment to this game was the alternative option for him. If the NFL had assigned Hochuli to the NFC Championship Game featuring Carolina and Arizona, it would have brought to light an early season incident between Hochuli and Carolina’s Cam Newton.

During the fall, Newton claimed Hochuli told him he wasn’t old enough yet to get certain calls yet. That would have potentially been a big mess with a berth to Super Bowl 50 at stake.

Bill Vinovich, the referee for Super Bowl XLIX last season, will officiate the NFC Championship battle between the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers.

  1. MY NAME IS GARY MORGAN. ED HOCHULI SHOULD NOT OFFICIATE THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME BETWEEN THE PATRIOTS
AND THE BRONCOS. FOR NUMBER ONE ED HOCHULI IS A RACIST AND HE S PREJUDICE. I SAW THAT FOR MYSELF WHEN HE OFFICIATED A GAME WHEN THE CAROLINA PANTHERS WERE PLAYING. I WISH HE WASN T OFFICIATING THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP
GAME JANUARY 24, 2016. ED HOCHULI IS GOING TO CHEAT AND CALL BAD CALLS ON TOM BRADY AND THE PATRIOTS.
HOCHULI S ASS IS GOING TO FAVOR THE BRONCOS AND SIDE WITH THEM AND WON T CALL ANY CALLS OR PENALTIES ON THEM.
I WON T BE SURPRISED IF ED HOCHULI AND HIS OFFICIATING STAFF DIDN T TAKE MONEY UNDER THE TABLE TO PURPOSELY
MAKE THE PATRIOTS LOSE THE GAME TO HELP THE BRONCOS WIN THE GAME. I DON T TRUST ED HOCHULI.
