Throughout the long history of WrestleMania, the WWE title match has long closed the show.
According to a report from Cageside Seats, that will not be the case this year. Instead of Roman Reigns vs. Triple H ending the show, it will be Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker in Hell in a Cell for control of Raw that serves as the main event.
Last Monday, Vince McMahon announced that if The Undertaker lost his match with Shane-O-Mac, it would be Taker’s final match at ‘Mania.
This is weird. First off, Shane-O-Mac last wrestled nearly a decade ago and is now being thrust into the main event of the company’s biggest show ever. Secondly, the Taker/Shane main event rumor further adds to a report regarding the WWE requesting extra time from pay-per-view carriers.
Of course, the biggest sticking point with the match is that nobody possibly believes that Shane will win.
Something is up.
Something is definitely up…
