New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick doesn’t exactly hand out praise freely. That’s why when it arrives, it should be taken pretty seriously.
During a speaking engagement for Salesforce World Tour Boston, Belichick – a man who has coached against the likes of Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, and Peyton Manning – stated what seems to be a growing sentiment in the football universe.
Belichick referred to Brady as the “greatest quarterback of all-time.” Also, he praised TB12’s leadership capabilities as well.
Surely, Belichick paying respects to Brady is not shocking but for him to drop the “greatest quarterback of all-time” line is actually somewhat jarring considering how tight-lipped he can be.
One day in the very near future, we’re going to have to pull up a collective chair to have a discussion about who indeed is the greatest quarterback of all-time. It’s getting to be about that time.
