The Carolina Panthers will not have to wait long to exact some measure of revenge for losing Super Bowl 50.
The 2016 NFL season will open the same way the 2015 campaign ended. The Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos will begin their defense at home against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, September 8 as the league unveiled its 256-game regular season schedule on Thursday night.
While Denver will have the full support of the home fans behind them, a major question remains as to who will oppose Cam Newton.
The Broncos are still searching for a quarterback. If their search turns up empty, we could be in store for Newton vs. Sanchez.
Oh boy.
