TMZ posted pictures on Tuesday that showed New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr. hanging out with Khloe Kardashian at a Drake pool party on Memorial Day.

However, after a day of speculation, Kardashian says she is not dating Beckham. Kardashian insisted outside of flirting, she has no designs on him despite sitting in his lap.

Kardashian’s relationships with athletes have been well-documented including Houston Rockets star James Harden and former Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom.

Her previous dalliances with athletes led to the New York Post featured an article titled “Dear Odell Beckham, run away from Khloe Kardashian.”

I’m not a relationship expert (despite playing one on this very blog) but this is a legitimate concern. The Kardashians are the definition of a distraction. They became super famous for…well, you know.

Reggie Bush was so looped over Khloe’s sister, Kim, that he dated a Kardashian clone after her. Odom lost it over Khloe. James Harden started dating her and perhaps didn’t want to get caught up in the Odom mess so he took his action elsewhere.

It sounds like a dumb story on the surface but this may be the difference between the Giants going 10-6 and 4-12.

Giants fans, cross your fingers that Beckham can resist the allure of the Kardashians.

If he can’t handle dealing with Josh Norman on the field, he surely can’t handle dealing with the Kardashian clan off of it.
