Through the NFL’s first two weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles have probably played the league’s two worst teams.
Last night, the Chicago Bears offered up an egregious second half effort in a 29-14 loss. However, the Bears stumbled into a 7-3 first half lead.
During the first half, Eagles superfan EDP made his presence felt on You Tube and skewered his team’s offensive line for a terrible effort.
Yet, when Jay Cutler is on the field for the Bears, anything great is possible for the opponent.
Cutler and the Bears imploded in the second half, while being outscored 20-7 in the second half.
EDP changed his tune quickly after the game and proclaimed the Eagles to possibly be a dangerous team. Also, he issued a warning to the Cowboys, Giants, and Redskins.
His turn is somewhat symbolic of the Birds at the moment. They aren’t really that good but keep running into lousy teams that make them look a lot better than they are.
That luck runs out for the 2-0 Birds next week when the Pittsburgh Steelers arrive to Lincoln Financial Field.
