The Philadelphia Eagles came back to join the rest of us mortals on Sunday after their 3-0 start went up in smoke in Detroit.
Philly fell to the Lions, 24-23, after erasing a double-digit second-half deficit. A critical fumble by Ryan Mathews put the Lions in prime position to grab the lead late in the fourth quarter.
After the Lions took the lead, rookie quarterback Carson Wentz threw the first interception of his career. Alas, Philly’s fate had been sealed in their first loss of the season to drop to 3-1.
Of course, Eagles fan EDP captured this experience as it happened and experienced the meltdown of a lifetime.
I can’t imagine how he’d react on a video if the Eagles lost a Super Bowl or conference title game.
Also, if you know Ryan Mathews, you might want to warn him about this video.
