Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith announced he intends to retire after Sunday’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Most notably, Smith spent 13 seasons with the Carolina Panthers and played in Super Bowl XXXVIII before spending his final three seasons with the Ravens.
In all likelihood, Smith’s accomplishments should land him a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day.
Whether it was his ability to yap with the opposition, get upset at Ric Flair or burn defensive backs downfield, Smith was a great player.
Enjoy this tribute that captures his time as a Panther and Raven.
