The New England Patriots return to action next Saturday night to begin what they hope will conclude with a fifth Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Tom Brady took advantage of New England’s bye week to take care of some business. He is promoting a new Under Armour Recovery Sleepwear that is essentially pajamas with a twist.
Per the Under Armour website, the explanation of Brady’s new gear is rather interesting:
Now, Under Armour has partnered with Tom Brady to create the world’s most advanced sleep system that actually rebuilds your body while you rest.
The key is the print on the inside of the Athlete Recovery Sleepwear, which leverages the power of Far Infrared.
Far Infrared is a type of energy on the infrared spectrum that has several benefits for the human body. TB12 technology was developed to harness it even when you’re resting.
The soft bioceramic print on the inside of the garment absorbs the body’s natural heat and reflects Far Infrared back to the skin.
This helps your body recover faster, promotes better sleep, reduces inflammation, and regulates cell metabolism.
I’m not sure what all of this means but it sounds useful to people and potentially leads to better sleep.
Well, it didn’t take Brady or the folks from Funny or Die to poke fun at TB12’s latest promotion.
The bit includes a QVC-like product pitch and Brady in a recording studio making noises that will eventually help people sleep. I dig the whale noises and coach’s whistle part in particular.
It’s a good time.
