From the “That’s Not Shocking” Department, NFL head honcho Roger Goodell will be at Sunday’s NFC Championship game between Green Bay and Atlanta.
That means he will not be in Foxborough, Massachusetts for Sunday’s AFC title game between Pittsburgh and New England.
Soon after news trickled out from the league office that Goodell would not be there, Patriots fans went in attack mode.
And here’s Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports coming in super hot:
Goodell has not attended a Patriots game since the Deflategate fiasco took place in 2015. His last appearance at Gillette Stadium came in January 2015 when the Patriots defeated the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC Divisional playoff game en route to winning Super Bowl XLIX.
