Hooters Offers Free Wings To Patriots Fan & Fire Alarm Puller Dennis Harrison

A Massachusetts Hooters is trying to take advantage of the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl march by running a special promotion.

In honor of Dennis Harrison, the man who set off the fire alarm in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ hotel prior to last Sunday’s AFC Championship game, Hooters is giving away free chicken wings to man who pulled the trick.

While Harrison made a court appearance and pleaded not guilty earlier this week, his deed appears to carry some currency in the New England area.

In a way, I feel bad for Harrison. Even though his Patriots won on Sunday and are headed back to the Super Bowl, Harrison’s enjoyment has to be muted a bit due to his legal issues.

Unless he creates the cure for a disease or does something else meaningful with his life, this is what he’ll be remembered for.

Look, what he did had little effect on the Steelers’ 36-17 loss. Yet, he’s always going to think about the fire alarm for the rest of his life.

In the end, just keep things simple. You might not earn a lot of free wings that way but at least you’ll have a peace of mind.
