Monday marked the official introductory press conference of Jay Cutler as a Miami Dolphin. In all likelihood, Cutler assume the starting quarterback role for the Dolphins that was previously occupied by the now-injured Ryan Tannehill.
During Cutler’s presser on Monday, he offered up the difference between guys like him and the dudes that win Super Bowls like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Ben Roethlisberger:
“It’s a good thing I play quarterback, so I really don’t have to be in that great of cardiovascular shape.”
I don’t care if he was joking, which it appeared he was at the time of the comment. However, when people question your heart, statements like that just can’t be made.
Here is your reminder that Jay Christopher Cutler will make $10 million for one season in Miami.
Best of luck to Miami Dolphins fans, everywhere.
You’ll need it.
