Here Is The Merrill Reese Radio Call Of The Miracle Jake Elliott Field Goal

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott performed a minor miracle on Sunday by nailing a 61-yard field goal to send the New York Giants to an 0-3 start.

Elliott, who is filling in for an injured Caleb Sturgis, wasn’t exactly on top of his game a week ago in Kansas City. The rookie kicker missed a chip shot field goal late in the first half that would have tied the game at the time.

Thus, Elliott nailing a 61-yard field goal to beat the Giants seemed like a wild dream. Yet, Elliott probably earned himself free drinks for quite sometime in Philly after today’s effort.

Here is the Eagles radio call by Merrill Reese and Mike Quick of the longest field goal in team history:

I think everyone was as surprised as Reese and Quick were. The Eagles play the star-crossed Los Angeles Chargers next Sunday.
