Not sure if you’ve heard but the NFL’s 100th season finally arrived on Thursday night in Chicago when the Bears hosted the Green Bay Packers.
Typically, NFL teams bust out their finest old school jerseys at some point during these anniversary seasons. Yet, Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, and Michele Tafoya turned back the clock in the Windy City on Thursday night.
Dressed like a pair of 1920s newspaper beat writers, Michaels and Collinsworth welcomed fans to the NFL’s 100th season to open NBC’s broadcast. Soon after Michaels and Collinsworth broke down the game, they threw it down to sideline reporter Michele Tayofa, who was also dressed for the occasions.
I’m ready for good or bad fashion decisions to be made this season. The NFL only turns 100 once.
Give me more, please.
