Before Sunday night’s Steelers-Patriots tilt, Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin was asked about Antonio Brown’s signing with the New England Patriots. His answer was he didn’t have one.
Hours later, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger provided a rather short and succinct answer when quizzed about Brown’s new team.
Granted, Roethlisberger was asked about this after being humiliated 33-3 by the Patriots. His problems with Brown are well-documented though and his “whatever” perfectly sums up the relationship between the former Steeler teammates.
There really isn’t one.
Regardless of what anyone thinks about Brown, the Steelers clearly missed his presence on Sunday night. They failed to score a touchdown while Roethlisberger finished 27 of 47 for 276 yards with an interception.
