Our playoff journey takes us to one of my favorite cities, Atlanta.
This is the next installment in our examination of the NFL playoffs as we provide brief looks at teams participating in this year’s postseason run. Our look at the bye teams begins with that cantankerous bunch from Pittsburgh.
The big news out Kansas City today was not the Ravens defeating Kansas City 30-7. Instead, the bigger news is that we will now see Ravens/Steelers III next Saturday. These two teams last met in the postseason during the ’08 AFC title game, which Pittsburgh won 23-14.
Normally, 36 points should be enough to win a playoff game. However, against a 7-9 team, that was not the case. The New Orleans Saints saw their run as NFL champion come to a screeching halt in Seattle following a shocking 41-36 loss to the Seahawks.
