These are weird times for Eagles fans. Head coach Andy Reid did a 180 and named Michael Vick as the team’s starter on Sunday versus Jacksonville.
He made it pretty clear that this was not about Kevin Kolb’s concussion back in Week 1 versus Green Bay. Philly’s boss implied that it instead was a tribute to Vick’s exceptional talents.
Normally, this would make sense if the switch took place after Week 5 but Kolb was given the preseason and two quarters of regular season.
Granted, he did not produce a touchdown during this span, but doesn’t he deserve another look?
According to Reid, he does not.
Now Eagles fans, this is your future (well, for now).
