Pittsburgh used a remarkable second half collapse by Baltimore to win their AFC Divisional rumble with the Ravens 31-24 on Saturday.
The game’s turning point came early in the second half with Baltimore leading 21-7. Ravens running back Ray Rice fumbled deep in Baltimore territory, which led to a Heath Miller score that trimmed the game to a 21-14 deficit.
A pair of Joe Flacco turnovers eventually gave Pittsburgh a 24-21 lead before the Ravens tied it at 24 in the fourth quarter.
Yet, faced with a third and 19 late in the fourth, Roethlisberger unleashed a 58-yard bomb to receiver Antonio Brown down to Baltimore’s four.
A Rashard Mendenhall score later and Baltimore’s collapse was complete.
The true winner out of this bruising affair maybe the winner of tomorrow’s New England/New York confrontation.
