NFL Network’s Top 100 Players program reached its conclusion on Sunday night with New England’s Tom Brady at the top of the heap, getting the nod over Indy’s Peyton Manning.
Baltimore Ravens linebacker supreme Ray Lewis did the intro for Brady’s profile which is enough for me to run out and tackle civilians in the middle of the street.
Following the show, Brady stated during a phone interview that he was “flattered” by the recognition.
One interesting note came via a tweet from Steelers safety Ryan Clark:
Whoever voted got it right.
Tom Brady is the best player in the NFL.
