Ummm….is there something wrong with this photo? The NFL might have something to say about it. According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, several fans sent him a link of the picture above from Sunday’s Jets/Patriots game.
There might as well be a mythical buyer beware tag on teams like the Detroit Lions. Annually, the media eyes an “it team” during the preseason as a potential sleeper that could either reach the playoffs or make a lengthy postseason run.
Remember when quarterbacks were compared to Dan Marino? If so, those days are all but kaput thanks to the NFL’s movement to make this a pass-first league and of course, a collection of supremely talented quarterbacks.
