What happens to the shirts for the losing Super Bowl team?
New England was on the receiving end of this issue after losing Super Bowl XLII. As ESPN’s Chris Connolly noted, the unused Super Bowl champions t-shirts are sent overseas where people need clothes.
Unfortunately for New England, a loss next Sunday night to the Giants means the Patriots dynasty will be reborn…in third-world countries.
It will be their second Super Bowl loss since 2008. Yes, it’s a dynasty.
