Texans, Packers Advance; Joe Webb Does Not

Can we ease up on Joe Webb?

The guy found out he was definitely starting just hours before Minnesota lost to the Packers in the NFC playoffs and had not attempted a pass all season long.

Expecting Fran Tarkenton, were you?

Ridiculous flappy hat aside, cut the guy a break…ok, except for that crazy ball he threw straight into the air. That was absurd.

In other news, the Texans opened up the playoffs with a sleep-inducing 19-13 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Their reward for defeating Cincy will be a return trip to Foxborough to face New England next Sunday afternoon.

Back to the Pack, Green Bay held Adrian Peterson to 99 yards rushing in a 24-10 win. The Pack faces San Francisco next Saturday night in a rematch of their Week 1 loss at Lambeau Field.

Here’s hoping Sunday’s games are far more entertaining…
