Say what you will about Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston (and plenty are these days) but I’m not sure Oregon’s method was the best course of action.
In the moments following Oregon’s 59-20 New Year’s Day destruction of defending national champion Florida State in the Rose Bowl (college football semifinal), a few Oregon Ducks decided to pay tribute (sort of) to the fallen Seminoles and their leader.
Duck players bellowed “No Means No” as they performed the trademark Seminole tomahawk chop theme during a post-game celebration.
Moments earlier, Kirk Herbstreit of ESPN eviscerated FSU for not shaking hands with Oregon following the game.
This is worse, yes?
Anyhow, the loss to Oregon marked the final game of Winston’s college career in all likelihood. He is expected to enter the 2015 NFL Draft.
