While Roger Goodell has been attempting to pistol-whip Tom Brady in court and the eye of public opinion all off-season, certain aspects of The Shield™ are attempting to honor the defending Super Bowl champions.

One night before the Patriots are set to defend their Super Bowl title, Do Your Job: Bill Belichick and the 2014 Patriots showcases Bill Belichick, the Kraft family, and the Patriots organization. The special will air on September 9 at 8 p.m. on NFL Network.

Then at 10 p.m., NFL Network will air their traditional tribute to the Super Bowl champions – America’s Game. The look at the 2014 Pats includes in-depth interviews with Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, and Devin McCourty.

I’m a huge fan of America’s Game. The insight in those things is out of this world. However, Do Your Job is going to be a special event and must-see-TV for football fans everywhere.
